Freedom Ministry

Inner healing and deliverance

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.”
Isaiah 61:1-3

Ministry Overview
Freedom Ministry is aimed at bringing healing and freedom to your soul, spirit, and body as well as bringing relational healing with God and others.  Jesus ministered not only to peoples’ physical needs, but also to their hearts, souls and minds.  He knew (and knows) how to bring wholeness to every area of our lives.   Like Jesus, our goal is to minister through the leading of the Holy Spirit, so that each person feels honored and loved in the process.

Ministry Session
~Although each session is as unique as the guest, ministry times are
designed to gently minister to areas needing breakthrough.
~Ministry is done in teams of 2 or 3, with an emphasis on the presence and
gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Team members are trained in various prayer tools.
~Ministry times typically last about an hour and a half (1.5 hours).

Background
Everyone experiences pain in life, some caused by our own poor choices, and some by choices others make.  However, we often respond to negative circumstances in ways that create additional problems, also leading to bondage. The good news is that Jesus revealed His desire and ability for his people to live free, physically, emotionally, and spiritually – even if the bondage was caused by their choice(s).  The ministry of inner healing and deliverance is a gift God has graciously made available in order to bring us into the freedom He designed us for.

Inner healing is often necessary to bring about freedom.  Emotional pain may be the result of a specific event(s) in life, or cumulative pain that occurred over time, typically in our childhood.  This pain and trauma often live below the surface of our awareness, yet often has significant (and devastating) effects in our lives today because they influenced both our world-view and habits that carry into adulthood.

Deliverance is the process of bringing freedom from demonic affliction through the power and authority of Jesus.  It is often, though not always, connected to issues of soul wounds and/or physical ailments.  However, it is very common for people to experience deliverance as Jesus heals their heart (inner healing).  Our highest priority is honoring you as we minister.
As mentioned earlier, physical problems are often the result of emotional wounds and/or demonic affliction.  At times, a guest realizes they have been physically healed as a result of receiving ministry for inner healing and/or deliverance.

Walking out Freedom
Experiencing freedom is a truly miraculous and amazing gift that Jesus makes available to every believer.  It is very important to recognize that getting free is just half the battle - and the easier half, at that!  Although our soul and spirit gains freedom at the time of ministry, habits can take considerably longer to catch up – often 30-45 days.  We are especially susceptible to attacks of the enemy during this time, as he recognizes this as an ‘opportune time’.  This means that walking in freedom is often a process that requires a commitment to standing, fighting, and aligning your heart and mind with the truth of Jesus.
